Ball Progressions:

Red Ball: Low compression, slower speed, used on smaller courts for ages 5–8.

Orange Ball: Slightly higher bounce, medium court size, for ages 8–11.

Green Ball: Higher compression, close to standard, for ages 9–12.

Yellow Ball: Full compression (standard ball), used in full court for ages 11yrs plus


For each age group players start at rally 5 in which there are 6 Key challenges aimed for all levels of players to complete
- Serve: Focuses on the serving motion, with increasing difficulty from halfway to full court and then specific directional control.
- Return: Deals with returning the serve, progressing from simple returns to a mix of forehands and backhands, and finally to controlled, directed returns.
- Rally: A measure of a player’s consistency and ability to keep the ball in play, with the required rally length increasing from 5 to 20 shots. The “Tour” level adds a directional component (cross-court).
- Volley: Focuses on net play, starting with basic volleys and advancing to more complex shots like smashes and hitting volleys into open spaces.
- Match: Relates to playing competitive matches, from a single match to timed matches and eventually entering formal competitions.
- Family practice Practice: Encourages playing with family, with the duration increasing from 5 to 20 minutes, culminating in watching a professional tournament together.
